Free Safe Medicine Disposal Event – Friday, April 29th

Free – Safe Medicine Disposal!

Friday, April 29th

1:00-5:00 pm

Protect our environment. Flushing medications down the toilet may harm our local waterways because wastewater treatment plants aren’t designed to treat them.  Medicines don’t belong in the garbage either where they can also get into the landfill environment.

Keep your medications out of the wrong hands. Prescription medications are the most commonly abused substance in the U.S.  More young people age 12-17 abuse prescription drugs than any illicit drug except marijuana.  Studies show that a majority of these prescription drugs are obtained from medicine cabinets.

Drop off your expired, unused and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs at one of these convenient drop off locations on Friday, April 29th, between 1:00 and 5:00 pm:
